  • 24 chicken wings, tips removed
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (preferably Frank's RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Blue cheese dressing, for serving
  • Celery sticks, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine hot sauce, butter, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until the butter has melted and the ingredients are well combined.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the saucepan, making sure they are fully submerged in the sauce.
  3. Cook for 15 20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Remove the wings from the sauce and place them on a grill preheated to medium high heat. Grill for 3 4 minutes per side or until they develop a beautiful charred exterior.
  5. Return the grilled wings to the saucepan and toss them in the remaining sauce. Serve immediately with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
