Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the shrimp, corn, potatoes, and smoked sausage. Add the beer and water, and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the potatoes are just tender.
  3. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, then stir in Old Bay Seasoning, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the spicy butter sauce into the pot with the boiled ingredients and stir well to coat everything evenly. Remove from heat and allow the flavors to meld for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped cilantro and serve immediately, straight from the pot.
