Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, then set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and butter until soft peaks form.
  3. Stir the cooled chocolate into the whipped cream mixture, along with the erythritol, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix well until smooth and glossy.
  4. Refrigerate the chocolate mousse for at least 2 hours to set.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Place a sheet of puff pastry on the parchment lined sheet and cut into 4 even rectangles. Repeat for all 8 sheets.
  7. Spoon chocolate mousse onto one end of each rectangle, then roll tightly to form cigars. Seal the edges and transfer to the baking sheet, seam side down.
  8. Bake for 20 25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Cool on a wire rack.
  9. In a small saucepan, combine orange zest, juice, cayenne pepper, and sweetener. Heat gently until dissolved, then let cool.
  10. Drizzle the spicy orange glaze over the chocolate mousse cigars before serving.
