Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • free dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted almonds, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 oz. dark rum
  • 1 oz. coconut
  • flavored vodka
  • Ice
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Shaved chocolate and almonds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the almond milk, coconut milk, and heavy cream. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add the sugar free dark chocolate and cocoa powder to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of the prepared chocolate mixture with the rum and coconut flavored vodka. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into 6 glasses filled with fresh ice. Top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream, and garnish with shaved chocolate and almonds.
