1 cup almond flour
2 tablespoons granulated erythritol (or another sugar substitute)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup cold heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 large egg, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the sugar
free chocolate sauce:
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup granulated erythritol (or another sugar substitute)
1 cup hot water
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, erythritol, cocoa powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Add heavy cream, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a piping bag with a star tip. Pipe 5 inch long strips onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
For the sugar free chocolate sauce: In a small bowl, mix cocoa powder, erythritol, and hot water until smooth. Stir in coconut oil and vanilla extract.
To serve, drizzle the sugar free chocolate sauce over the cooled churros and sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.
