Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
2 cups chopped walnuts
4 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/2 cup erythritol or keto
friendly sweetener
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix well. In another bowl, whisk together sweetener, water, and lemon juice until dissolved. Stir in melted butter. Press half of the nut mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the liquid mixture over the nuts. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of walnuts evenly on top. Repeat with the remaining nut mixture and liquid mixture. Finish with a layer of walnuts. Bake for 30 35 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bite sized squares. Enjoy your keto friendly Baklava Bites!
