Ingredients
4 large bell peppers, any color
1 pound ground beef
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the tops off of the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in spinach, minced garlic, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until spinach is wilted.
Mix softened cream cheese into the meat mixture until fully combined.
Stuff each bell pepper with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the stuffed peppers.
Bake for 25 30 minutes or until peppers are tender.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
