Ingredients

• 1. 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined 2. 6 slices of bacon, halved 3. 1/2 cup BBQ sauce 4. 1/4 cup brown sugar 5. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 6. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 7. 1 tsp smoked paprika 8. 1 tsp cayenne pepper 9. 1 tsp ground black pepper 10. 1/2 tsp salt 11. 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, ground black pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
2. Thread the shrimp onto bacon strips, securing them with toothpicks. Place the bacon wrapped shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Brush the shrimp generously with the BBQ glaze, making sure to coat both the bacon and shrimp evenly.
4. Preheat your grill to medium high heat (approximately 350°F). Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2 3 minutes per side or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through. Brush with additional glaze during cooking if needed.
5. Remove from the grill, let rest for a minute, then serve hot.
