In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up and stirring frequently. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning according to package instructions. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
If using refried beans, warm them up in another pan.
Warm corn tortillas in a separate pan or on the grill until softened but not too crispy.
Assemble tacos by placing ground beef on each tortilla, topping with salsa, lettuce, cheese, avocado slices, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
