Ingredients
- 1. Ripe Mangoes
- 4 large 2. Mascarpone Cheese
- 8 oz 3. Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 can (14 oz) 4. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup 5. Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup 6. Cardamom Pods
- 4 7. Pistachios
- 1/2 cup, chopped 8. Saffron Threads
- a pinch
Instructions
- Combine mangoes, condensed milk, lemon juice, and half of the saffron threads in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and remaining saffron threads until smooth.
- Gently fold the mango mixture into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow tray and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle chopped pistachios over the top of the frosé.
Chef’s Insight
Use ripe, juicy mangoes for a vibrant and rich flavor.
Notes
1. Allow the frosé to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before scooping to make it easier to serve. 2. Experiment with different types of mangoes for a unique taste experience.
