  • 1 cup Tennessee whiskey
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the pork shoulder, whiskey, vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 5 hours.
  2. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix well with the sauce. Let it sit for another 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium high heat. Toast the slider buns on the grill for 1 2 minutes until slightly crispy.
  4. Spoon the pulled pork and sauce onto the bottom halves of the toasted buns, then place the top halves on each slider. Serve immediately.
