Ingredients

  • 4 oz sakura
  • infused sake (see below) 12 oz sparkling water, chilled 4 tbsp sakura simple syrup (see below) Fresh sakura flowers for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare sakura infused sake and sakura simple syrup (see below).
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the sakura infused sake, sparkling water, and sakura simple syrup. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Pour the cherry blossom fizz into 4 glasses with ice. Garnish each glass with a fresh sakura flower. Serve immediately. Sakura Infused Sake: 1 cup sake 5 dried sakura flowers
  4. In a small saucepan, combine the sake and dried sakura flowers. Heat over low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to steep for an additional 30 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, discarding the flowers. Sakura Simple Syrup: 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 5 dried sakura flowers
  5. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and dried sakura flowers. Heat over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to steep for an additional 30 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, discarding the flowers.
