  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup brewed chamomile tea, cooled
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Whipped coconut cream (optional)
  • Fresh jasmine flowers for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine almond milk, cacao powder, cinnamon, vanilla bean, honey or maple syrup, and sea salt. Heat over medium heat until it begins to steam but does not boil.
  2. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly before whisking in the brewed chamomile tea and additional almond milk.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large glass jar or pitcher, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
  4. Chill the elixir in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until well chilled.
  5. To serve, pour the chilled elixir into individual glasses and top with a dollop of whipped coconut cream if desired. Garnish with fresh jasmine flowers.
