Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 12 cup muffin tin with parchment paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the almond flour and chopped walnuts.
  3. Add melted coconut oil, honey, and spices (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and nutmeg) to the mixture. Stir well until fully combined.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly among the 12 muffin liners, pressing down gently to form the bases of the Baklava Bites.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of each bite.
  6. Bake for 15 20 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
  7. Allow the Baklava Bites to cool in the tin for at least 15 minutes before removing.
  8. Serve with a dusting of cinnamon on top.
