Instructions
- Fluffy Steamed Buns (Bao)
- Prepare the dough by mixing flour, instant yeast, sugar, milk, eggs, salt, and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Fill the buns with your choice of pork, chicken, or vegetables.
- Roll and shape the buns, then steam them for 15 20 minutes until fully cooked. Savory Fried Rice
- Heat oil in a pan, add green onions, carrots, and peas, sautéing until tender.
- Add cooked jasmine rice to the pan, stirring well to combine with vegetables.
- Create a well in the middle of the rice, crack eggs into it, and scramble them.
- Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper for seasoning.
- Serve hot alongside fluffy steamed buns.
