Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Carefully slide the patties into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 4 5 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
