1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1 small banana, peeled and frozen in chunks
1/2 cup almond milk or water
1/2 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
2 cups baby spinach, packed
Zest and juice of one orange
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
Optional toppings: sliced almonds, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of agave syrup or honey
Instructions
In a high speed blender, combine the frozen mixed berries, banana, almond milk, avocado, baby spinach, orange zest and juice, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. Blend until smooth, creamy, and perfectly thick.
