  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef for bulgogi marinade
  • 2 large onions, cut into wedges

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create the bulgogi marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a large pan or grill over medium high heat.
  4. Add onion wedges and bell pepper strips, cook until they start to soften (about 5 7 minutes). Remove from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add marinated beef and cook until cooked through.
  6. Assemble tacos by adding bulgogi, grilled onions, and bell peppers onto warm tortillas or shells. Top with shredded Korean cheese.
  7. Place assembled tacos on a preheated skillet or grill to sizzle the flavors together for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve immediately!
