Instructions
Prepare Smokehouse BBQ sauce by combining all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside.
In a large skillet or griddle, cook bacon strips until crisp and set aside.
Spread softened butter on the cut sides of burger buns and toast them on a grill or in a pan over medium heat until golden brown.
Assemble burgers: Place beef patties on bottom bun halves, top with 2 strips of crispy bacon, followed by a slice of Monterey Jack cheese.
Spread 2 tablespoons of Smokehouse BBQ sauce on the inside of each toasted bun half and place on top of patties.
Pile coleslaw on the bottom half of the bun, followed by a pickle.
Top with lettuce leaves and serve immediately.
