Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Rub the chicken thighs with the spice mixture and marinate for 30 minutes to overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6 7 minutes per side or until fully cooked through and slightly charred. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Assemble tacos by layering sliced chicken, citrus lime slaw, avocado slices, and a squeeze of lime juice on each tortilla. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
