Southern Comfort Breakfast: Buttermilk Pancakes and Country Ham with Maple Syrup

Grease lightly with butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges are slightly firm, about 2 3 minutes per side. Repeat for all pancakes. While pancakes are cooking, fry country ham slices in a separate pan until crispy and golden brown. Set aside. To serve, stack two to three pancakes on each plate and top with a few slices of the fried country ham. Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy!
