  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, cover eggs with cold water and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let stand 10 minutes.

  4. To the bowl with yolks, add mayonnaise, yellow mustard, pickle relish, and 1/2 of the smoky spice mix. Mash together until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Fill each egg white half with the deviled mixture. Sprinkle remaining spice mix over the tops of the filled eggs.
  6. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped chives, and bacon bits to mimic a sizzling, smoky grill.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
