Ingredients

  • 12 large fresh jalapenos 4 oz cream cheese, softened 4 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp garlic powder Salt and pepper, to taste 12 slices thick

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F).
  2. Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno half with a slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks if needed.
  6. Place wrapped jalapenos on the grill grate, close the lid and cook for 20 25 minutes, turning occasionally until bacon is crispy and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from the grill and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
