  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine apple juice, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut into 2 inch chunks. Add them to the slow cooker, making sure they are fully submerged in the liquid.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Using two forks, shred the pork directly in the slow cooker, discarding any excess fat. Stir well to coat with the sauce.
