  • 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons orange blossom water 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder 1/4 cup cold water 6 kumquats, thinly sliced and seeded 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and 1/4 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is heated through.
  2. In a separate bowl, sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the cold water. Allow it to soften for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the cream mixture from heat and whisk in the softened gelatin until fully dissolved. Stir in the orange blossom water.
  4. Pour the cream mixture into four individual ramekins or dessert cups, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  5. In a separate saucepan, combine the sliced kumquats and sugar over medium heat. Cook until the kumquats are tender and the syrup is slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
  6. Allow the kumquats to cool completely, then arrange them on top of each set panna cotta.
